James Santos is originally from the state of New Hampshire, growing up in a small town about an hour north of Boston, MA. James attended Trinity High School in Manchester, NH, where he graduated in 2016. After high school, James decided to leave everything he knew and attend the University of South Carolina at Columbia to pursue his undergraduate degree. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UofSC in 2019.

James then decided to attend law school at Belmont University College of Law, and fulfill a lifelong dream of living in Nashville, TN. Throughout law school, James has held various internships with law firms in Middle Tennessee, primarily in the fields of Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense. James began working for the Ralston Firm in May of 2022, and quickly fell in love with both the firm and the Sumner County area as a whole. James prides himself on giving clients the best experience possible, whether it is our Family Law clients, Social Security Disability clients, or a client in one of our other civil practice areas.

James represents our clients in Family Law, Social Security Disability, and other general civil litigation areas. When James isn't in court or at the office, you can catch him attending concerts, cheering on his South Carolina Gamecocks, and spending time with his friends and family.
